The Count of Monte-Cristo

Edmond Dantes finds himself caught up in a malevolent scheme and is wrongfully imprisoned on his wedding day. He spends 14 long years confined in the island fortress of Château d’If before finally orchestrating a bold escape. Having acquired immense wealth, he takes on the persona of the Count of Monte-Cristo and embarks on a quest for vengeance against the trio of individuals who betrayed him.
