High Country Season 1

In the eight-episode detective thriller \"Highland\", there are murders, mystique, and a bunch of genre elements in a \"pulp\" style, covered with glossy cinematographic lacquer, as well as the impeccable performance of the lead actress Leah Pursell. She plays detective Andy Whitford, a city police officer recently transferred to the town of Brokenridge in the titular Victorian region, where the majestic beauty of mountains, valleys, rivers, and streams has been somewhat tainted by a large number of corpses and disappearances. In order to uncover the mystery of these five missing people, who simply vanished into thin air, she will have to unravel a web of murders, deception, and revenge.
