House of David Season 1

The series is about the life of the biblical hero David, who eventually became the most famous and revered king of Israel. Once a powerful king, Saul fell victim to his pride. By the will of God, the prophet Samuel anointed David, an unknown and rejected teenager, to be the king. When Saul lost his power, David set out on a journey to find and fulfill his destiny, experiencing love, loss, and violence at the court of the man he was destined to replace.
