"White Lotus" was created by Mike White, an American author with a recognizable style (TV series "Enlightened" with Laura Dern and the film "Brad's Status" with Ben Stiller - his works). In the new project, the writer will tell the story of a resort in Hawaii, where visitors of an expensive local hotel will try to relax and forget about all their troubles for a week. But it is unlikely that they will succeed: soon a web of intrigue will envelop this paradise place. Moreover, strange things will start happening between the guests and the hotel staff.
