Samuel, Nadya, and Christian, three friends from working-class backgrounds, are granted scholarships to attend the prestigious private school known as "Las Encinas," which is typically attended by the upper class. Upon entering the new school, the trio feels alienated due to the economic disparity between their families and their wealthier peers, causing them to become social outcasts. Nevertheless, as time goes on, these teenagers gradually demonstrate their abilities and prove that they are just as capable as those with affluent parents. Within the walls of "Las Encinas," they form both friendships and rivalries, experience the joy and heartbreak of romantic relationships, and gain insight into the lives of the elite, often finding that these lives lack moral integrity and virtue.
