In Seattle, four young girls have gone missing in a short period of time. There is a theory that a serial killer has appeared in the city. The FBI's specialized unit in behavioral analysis of criminals takes on the investigation of this criminal case. Jason Gideon leads this unit, and together with his colleagues, he tries to identify the criminal by creating his psychological profile. Jason is not a frequent visitor to FBI forensic laboratories. He and his team go to the crime scenes, interview witnesses, and analyze and study the psychological aspect of the criminal's life.
