American Rust Season 2

The film adaptation of the novel by Philipp Meyer tells the story of the crumbling American dream through the example of Del Harris - the police chief of one of the towns in the Rust Belt of the USA in southwest Pennsylvania. When the son of a woman whom Harris loves is accused of murder, the main character must decide how far he is willing to go to protect the boy.
