Based on the true story of the much celebrated cryptanalyst Alan Turing, the movie shows Turing along with his team of code breakers work at Britain’s top-secret facility Bletchley Park in their endeavor to interpret the code of German enigma machine. Turing is a mathematics alumnus from the Cambridge who in 1939 is hired by this newly formed facility. He is a master mind and learns that there is no sense in hacking the code on daily basis as the Germans would change the code every day.
In his attempt he develops an extraordinary machine which can hack codes just at on go. The movie is spanned around three different phases in the life of Alan Turning; depicting how he is bullied at school and how he chooses chemical castration over two years’ imprisonment. The movie draws a sharp contrast between the person the world sees and his internal struggles.
