In Los Angeles, a nuclear bomb explodes, and the country plunges into chaos. Former Green Beret Jeff Erickson and his family flee to Homestead - a fortress located in the mountains. As the threat approaches, the residents of the fortress question whether they can withstand human nature and prevent bloodshed at their doorstep.
