Small Things Like These

1985. Coal merchant and family man Bill Ferlong is preparing for the most intense season in his work. Several weeks before Christmas, he delivers an order to a local monastery and unwittingly becomes a witness to a shocking story unfolding within its walls. Bill learns what is really hidden behind the "Magdalene laundries" - special institutions associated with monasteries, where women with difficult fates are placed.
