Vanished Into the Night

Elena, an American psychiatrist, emigrated to Italy to be with her lover Pietro. They got married, had two children, and dreamed of restoring an old farmhouse to turn it into a hotel. But things didn't work out, and the couple decided to separate. One night, when the children were at the farmhouse with their father, they disappeared. Desperate to find them on his own, Pietro tells Elena everything, as they go through a difficult divorce and argue over custody. Soon they are informed that their children have been kidnapped. In order to get them back, the parents need to gather $150,000 in cash within 36 hours. And this is only the beginning of a strange and convoluted story... "Vanished in the Night" is an Italian detective thriller, a remake of the Spanish-Argentinian film "Seventh Floor".
