Hillbilly Elegy

Adaptation of the autobiographical book 'Hillbilly Elegy' by James Vance. The story revolves around three generations of a troubled rural family. The main character, J.D. Vance, a former sailor and Yale student, is close to getting his dream job. However, a family crisis forces him to return home to his mother, sister, who is struggling with addiction, and memories of his grandmother, a wise and cheerful woman who raised him.
